Remember to bring your proper tights (pink and/or beige, without holes or runs) and dance shoes for your photo.

Makeup:

This is not optional. All CSD students must wear stage makeup for picture day, dress rehearsal and performances. The following link will list the items you will need and go step by step through the application process.

Hair:

Please see the Picture Day Schedule below for the hairstyle for each dance class.  A hair tutorial can also be found by following the links listed above.

Costumes:

IMPORTANT - No child will receive a costume until May and June tuition have been submitted to CSD. This can be paid by a credit card on file (most of you are already paying this way) or post-dated cheques (some of you owe May and/or June tuition cheques). Payments by credit card or cheque will still be processed on May 1st and June 1st. Those paying monthly by cash MUST provide a credit card on file or give May 1st and June 1st post-dated cheques to receive your costumes.

Costumes will be distributed in classes from Monday, May 7th to Friday, May 11th only to those families that have met the above requirements.

Tights & Shoes:

Please see the Picture Day Schedule below for the colour of tights you should be wearing for each dance. Shoes and tights must be in performance condition - no holes, runs, snags, stains etc.

Other:

Students cannot wear ANY jewelry (including any earrings), tattoos, wrist bands or nail polish for Picture Day, dress rehearsal and performances. We keep our performances and experience for the dancers as professional as possible and this is the protocol for stage performers.

Pictures:

Photographic Memories will be coming to CSD to photograph our dancers in class and individual photos. They have over 30 years of experience photographing for dance studios. They will have order forms for you to fill out on May 12th and will accept payment by Mastercard, Visa and Cash ONLY. You must have your payment with you at the time in order to have individual pictures taken. The photo package is $18.00 and includes a 5x7 group photo and 3.5x5 individual photo. You can also order additional prints on top of this package. If your child is in multiple classes and you do not wish to purchase a photo package for every dance, please plan out before you arrive which dances(costumes) you would like your child to have photos of.  All students must attend photo day to be apart of the class photo even if you do not intend to purchase any photos.
